Fresh Gatherings Café Sells Holiday Turkeys
Fresh Gatherings Café, operated by the Saint Louis University (SLU) Nutrition and Dietetics department, is again selling turkeys this holiday season. The turkeys are broad-breasted, pasture-raised white turkeys from Buttonwood Farms in California, MO. The turkeys are raised with no growth hormones or antibiotics, are fresh – never frozen, and removed from pasture for processing a day before delivery.
In addition to turkeys and turkey breasts, customers can order large eggs, house-made turkey stock and Chef Todd Parkhurst’s dinner rolls. Order pickup will be in Fresh Gatherings Café on the ground floor of SLU’s Allied Health Professions Building on Monday, Nov. 25 or Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
The Deadline for orders is Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Pastured Whole Turkey Breast - $7.00 per pound
