Teresa Pérez-Piqueras

The Professional Achievement Award recognizes those alumni who exemplify the mission of Saint Louis University in their daily lives. They have achieved outstanding success in their professional fields and brought credit to the University and benefit to their communities. This award honors alumni who graduated from 2000 to 2010.

Teresa Pérez-Piqueras started her degree at SLU-Madrid and graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology in St. Louis. She went on to complete a master's degree from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Video Game Creation, studies in Marketing and Digital Communication Management at Cerem Escuela Internacional de Negocios, and another master's degree from the Escuela de Organización Industrial in Quality Management and Business Process Re-Engineering.

Teresa was instrumental in starting the SLU-Madrid Alumni Association and has taken an active role in all they've done from the start - planning events, marketing them, and actively participating at them. She has also served as the President and Co-President of the SLU-Madrid Alumni Committee since 2004.

Teresa started her professional career at Indra in Configuration Management at the Simulation Department and went on to a management role at Bombardier in the railway industry. She now serves as a Passenger Information System Engineer at Talgo, helping railway operators provide service in 44 countries across 4 continents.
