Saint Louis University's Master of Public Health program offers several concentrations, allowing you to develop specialized skills that your future employers will find more valuable.
Whether you like to investigate disease outbreaks, crunch numbers or develop policies and programs to help communities lead healthier lives, SLU's concentrations will equip you with the real-world skills you rely on in your future career. Here's our full list of concentrations:

Most of the concentrations can be completed in two years or 48 credit hours.
Joint Concentrations
Many of our students choose to enhance their education by completing two concentrations. Blending concentrations enables you to combine your interests and provides additional skills to make you a stronger candidate in the job market and the flexibility to do more throughout your career in public health.
Joint concentrations require just six additional credit hours to complete (54 credit hours). Many of our alumni tell us that, in the long term, it is worth the investment.
For example, combining epidemiology with behavioral science and health equity provides you with the skills to develop and manage community-based intervention programs, built on sound research and data gained by your additional expertise in epidemiology.
Health policy and management students can use additional epidemiology training to develop evidence-based policies for health care organizations, NGOs, advocacy organizations, think tanks and government.
