Welcome to Saint Louis University's 1818 Advanced College Credit Program! We’re thrilled to welcome you as a prospective 1818 student.

Through the 1818 Advanced College Credit program, available at participating institutions across the world, students have the opportunity to jumpstart their academic careers by earning college credit (at a discounted rate) for college classes right in their high school classrooms.

It should be noted that expectations for program participants are high. Qualifying high school courses maintain the same rigor and demands as courses taught on campus. The program is open to qualified high school students who have demonstrated the ability, motivation, and maturity to begin their college education before their high school days are behind them.

Who is Eligible to Participate in the 1818 Program?

With over 200 years of experience designing developmentally appropriate higher education courses and programs, and with over 50 years running one of the nation’s largest and most respected dual-credit programs, SLU is well-schooled in the factors that impact holistic educational success. SLU will continue to implement 1818 Program enrollment policies and restrictions that, in the determination of our faculty, ensure that student educational experiences at SLU are developmentally appropriate and offer the most potential for students’ holistic success in the Jesuit tradition.
