Research Interests

My research examines how communities and organizations co-create knowledge for sustainability transitions. I focus on urban agriculture and community gardens, exploring agroecological learning, participatory governance, social innovation and the relationships between civic initiatives and public institutions.

My research combines a systematic literature review with qualitative fieldwork in Madrid's community gardens. Current projects examine adaptive civic commons, municipal support and community autonomy, and the changing demands of collective learning through cultural-historical activity theory. My wider research interests include consumer behaviour, neuromarketing and sustainability in business.
