The festival concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding achievements including:

Javier Sauras, Ph.D., and Department of Communication Program Director Rosana Vivar, Ph.D., organized the event.
"We have such a talented body of students," said Vivar. "We hope this is a first step to create an annual exhibition platform to showcase and promote students' work. Javier Sauras and I have been so impressed by the quality of the films that students have been creating in the Media Lab. That's what inspired us to put together this event."
