SLU-Madrid Alumni Set to Reconnect in St. Louis and Madrid
Saint Louis University-Madrid alumni will have several chances to reconnect with fellow Billikens and celebrate their connection to the Madrid campus during the 2026-27 academic year.
The fall calendar begins with SLU Homecoming and Family Weekend in St. Louis on Sept. 26, when SLU-Madrid will host a prospective student and study abroad information session, followed by an alumni networking event and panel discussion.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. in the Wool Ballroom in Busch Student Center with coffee and churros. Attendees can learn more about studying abroad in Madrid and hear firsthand from SLU-Madrid alumni who participated as study abroad students, 2+2 program students and degree-seeking students.
The alumni panel will give prospective students and families the chance to ask questions and hear how studying in Madrid has shaped alumni's academic and professional journeys.
The SLU-Madrid community will come together again during SLU-Madrid Homecoming Weekend in Madrid, Nov. 4-8. The weekend will feature events for alumni to reconnect with classmates and celebrate their continued connection to the campus.
A highlight of the weekend will be the 12th Annual Distinguished Alumni Awards at 7 p.m. on Nov. 5. The annual awards recognize SLU-Madrid alumni and community members for their professional achievements, service and contributions to their communities. Information about this year's honorees and event registration will be announced later this month.
Additional alumni events are being planned for the 2026-27 academic year, including receptions in cities around the world. As details are finalized, events will be added to the SLU-Madrid Alumni website.
"We're excited to expand opportunities for alumni to stay connected, engaged, and be part of our community throughout the year," said Kearney Liuzza, director of Institutional Advancement and External Engagement at SLU-Madrid. "As we finalize the 2026-27 calendar, we'll continue adding events to the website, so we encourage alumni to check back regularly for new opportunities to participate and build meaningful relationships with fellow Billikeños and SLU-Madrid."
Alumni can also join the SLU-Madrid Alumni LinkedIn group to stay connected with fellow graduates and receive updates about upcoming events.
From St. Louis to Madrid and beyond, the 2026-27 alumni calendar will bring the SLU-Madrid community together throughout the year.
