Research Interests

Jennifer Monahan's research is broadly divided into two categories.  Students interested in Chemical Education develop an array of projects for the undergraduate teaching labs.  Those interested in becoming a science teacher can work on pedagogical development for an array of different chemistry sub-disciplines related to Monahan's courses.  Students interested in Surface Science investigate adhesion and work to develop quantitative measurement techniques for moderate length scales (ranges relevant for microfluidic or biological adhesion).
