Practice Areas

Chris Grant is a union-side labor lawyer at Schuchat, Cook & Werner. He represents labor unions in NLRB matters, collective bargaining, and grievance-arbitration. He also advises non-profit organizations on state-wide initiative petitions, advocacy and political work, and lobbying limits. In 2025, Chris received the Lawyer of the Year award from Missouri’s Lawyers Media as part of the legal team protecting Amendment 3, a reproductive rights constitutional amendment. Chris graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2001 (J.D., summa cum laude). He is a past editor of The Developing Labor Law (6th ed.) and How to Take a Case Before the NLRB (8th ed.).
