SLU-Madrid Honors M.A. Spanish Graduates

Spanish programs director Olga Muñoz, Ph.D., served as the Master of Ceremonies for the 2018 Master of Arts in Spanish Commencement Ceremony, held in the San Ignacio Hall Auditorium.

This summer's celebration was an intimate one, during which both graduates and faculty had the opportunity to reflect on their experiences, their learning and their future goals in the company of all SLU-Madrid M.A. students.

Congratulations to Monai Myles, Jeremy Ruegg and Lily Richards (unable to attend) for completing their M.A. in Spanish degrees at SLU-Madrid.

SLU-Madrid's Summer M.A. in Spanish program is unique in that it permits students to complete their degree over three to four intensive summer sessions (late June/July) in Spain, complemented by online coursework. The program's structure allows teachers of Spanish in the U.S. and, increasingly, around the world, to fulfill their work responsibilities at primary and secondary schools while pursuing the degree. Taught by an internationally recognized faculty, coursework focuses on Spanish and Latin American literature and linguistics; the program also prepares graduates for doctoral programs in Spanish and education.
