Niraj Chavan, M.D., specializes in high-risk pregnancies, and in particular, substance
use during pregnancy. Other areas of expertise include maternal medical complications,
such as cardiovascular, neurological, renal and autoimmune conditions, hypertensive
disorders of pregnancy, preterm birth, placenta accreta spectrum and multiple gestations.
Chavan is medical director of the Women and Infant Substance Help (WISH) Center, which
provides comprehensive maternity care for expectant mothers with opioid addiction.
