Division of Child Protection

Saint Louis University School of Medicine's Division of Child Protection provides a safe, compassionate environment and expert medical services for children who are victims of abuse or neglect.

Keeping Kids Safe

The Division of Child Protection works to reduce trauma and promote healing. Its multidisciplinary team provides medical assessments and consultative services for children who have experienced maltreatment, as well as children in foster care.

The division also educates medical students, staff and members of the legal, child protection and law enforcement communities. It regularly helps families manage, recover and prevent crisis situations.

Programs

The division is home to the Child Protection Program and Fostering Healthy Children Program.

Child Protection Program
