Practice Areas
Colleen Claassen, M.D., specializes in neonatal resuscitation and critical care of
infants with complex congenital heart disease. She treats premature and extremely
low birth weight infants (Level II-IV neonatal intensive care) and newborns with congenital
cardiac and surgical diseases. She also provides care through the neonatal follow-up
clinic.
Claassen uses the latest technologies, including inhaled nitric oxide for pulmonary
hypertension, high frequency oscillatory ventilation for severe respiratory failure,
and bubble CPAP for respiratory distress syndrome.
