Practice Areas
Kimberly Spence, M.D., provides care for premature and extremely premature infants, normal and sick newborns and babies in Level II-IV neonatal intensive care. Spence offers consultation services for expectant mothers. She also treats babies who receive outpatient care in the high-risk nursery clinic.
Spence is involved in palliative care, with particular interest in ethical issues
related to end-of-life care. She specializes in quality improvement initiatives and
neonatal abstinence syndrome.
Spence is co-chair of the ethics committee at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
