Research Interests

Willoughby's research program takes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of cognitive changes and health-related concerns in late adulthood. Her lab's current research projects address the following general lines:

  • Prospective Memory: memory for intended actions
  • Health concerns and the well-being of older immigrants
  • Ageism: discrimination based on a person's age.
