The Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University helps students — both within the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business and throughout SLU — develop their ideas into products. This includes opportunities to network with business owners and win cash prizes.
SLU eMentors
The Entrepreneurship Mentor (eMentor) Program aims to accelerate our students' growth through access to mentors and advisors. Our Many-to-Many Mentorship program connects groups of mentors to groups of mentees in person multiple times a semester. The SLU eMentor Program connects mentees with Billikens across the globe to provide advice and mentorship on their entrepreneurial journey.
This program is built on the following tenets:
- Value add for the student and the mentor
- Mentorship cannot be forced and will form through long-lasting relationships
- Mentor and mentee relationships are formed over time through social engagement

Student Entrepreneurship Ambassadors
The Student Entrepreneurship Ambassadors Program engages the entrepreneurship community at SLU through campuswide programming. Ambassadors serve as the student voice of the center and are advocates for entrepreneurship across campus. Students from all grade levels and colleges are encouraged to apply. A limited number of spots are available each semester.
Benefits include:
- Exposure to the entrepreneurial ecosystem at SLU and in St. Louis
- Engagement with the entrepreneurial support network of faculty, staff, students, local entrepreneurs and investors
- Real experience with important visitors, public speaking, and representing the CCE at University events and programs
- Entrepreneurship swag, such as shirts and gear, so you can stand out as an entrepreneurship ambassador
- Monthly ambassador meals with special entrepreneurship guests
SLULaunch: A Student-driven Incubator
SLULaunch is a student-driven incubator at the Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University, dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the geospatial and biomedical fields.
SLULaunch is now offered in a 1-credit-hour course format. SLULaunch is an immersive, semester-long program where students take an idea from concept to potential launch. In collaborative teams, participants learn to identify problems, validate solutions through customer discovery and market research, design prototypes, develop business models and create go-to-market strategies. Along the way, they gain real-world skills in legal considerations, funding, financial modeling, and growth tactics. The experience culminates in a pitch to community partners, equipping students with the tools, confidence and entrepreneurial mindset to turn innovative ideas into impactful ventures.
