Continuation Standards
Students must complete all English courses with a grade of C or higher in order to count for English minor requirements and to continue in the minor.

Curriculum Overview
The English minor requires 15 credit hours of coursework, as follows:
- ENGL 3000 Encountering English (3 cr)
- ENGL 3020 Shapes of English (3 cr)
- ENGL 4140 Reading & Writing Justice (3 cr)
Two English electives (6 credits), as follows:
- 2000- or 3000-level ENGL course
- 4000-level ENGL course**
*Prerequisite: ENGL 1500 or 1900
**With the exception of English 4110 Introduction to Linguistics, which does not count toward the English minor.
