The Counseling Center at Saint Louis University — Madrid Campus offers several resources for faculty and staff who are concerned about the mental health and well-being of SLU-Madrid students.
Mental Health Workshops
During the semester, several workshops are offered for faculty and staff through the Counseling Center on mental health topics. Stay tuned and sign up for our practical workshops on stress management, psychological self-care, work-life balance, assertiveness and many others.
Student Care Checks
If you are preoccupied with a student's mental health or general well-being, you can contact us, and we will anonymously conduct a student care check.
Class Visits and Guest Events
Many academic fields and subjects can relate to mental health issues. If you would like to incorporate such a talk or practical workshop in your course, please contact Carla Aparicio at carla.apariciogallardo@slu.edu, and we will be happy to design a guest appearance by one of our team members.
