Caregiver Speaker Series

This free virtual series was developed as a way to offer valuable, up-to-date information on caregiving and the impact of the 4Ms on older adults. The webinars — offered by SLU and the University of Louisville — feature regional and nationally recognized speakers. Providers, students, caregivers and community members are encouraged to attend.

2027 Annual Healthy Aging Conference

The two-day Healthy Aging Conference is an overview of the most pressing and innovative geriatrics topics in the field. Presenters with backgrounds in healthcare, medicine, mental health, nursing, allied health, and other fields will share cutting-edge knowledge around key topics in older adult care. Attendees will be able to use these skills in everyday practice in primary care, geriatrics clinics, and other community-based settings.

The conference will have three morning plenary presentations on innovative topics including new medications, the future of Medicare, and artificial intelligence and its role in aging. The afternoon includes a series of three tracks from which to choose, including clinical practice, research, and innovations in geriatric practice.

Over the lunch hour, a student poster competition will highlight student research and careers with older adults

Call for Student Poster Abstracts

Students across disciplines are invited to submit a poster for the second annual Healthy Aging Conference. Poster authors will present during a dedicated session and gain valuable experience presenting in a professional conference setting. It's an opportunity to showcase work and engage with a multidisciplinary audience of clinicians, educators and aging professionals.

Virtual Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Facilitator Training

This full-day virtual training is for professionals, providers and community members who want to facilitate cognitive stiumulation therapy (CST) for older adults with memory loss. Get the skills and tips you need to successfully lead groups in your community and/or respective sites.
