Pediatric Rheumatology

Saint Louis University School of Medicine's pediatric rheumatologists treat children and teens with musculoskeletal, autoimmune and autoinflammatory disorders, and conduct clinical and immunological research.

Improving Children's Autoimmune Health

Rheumatology is a combined internal medicine and pediatrics division that serves both adults and children. Physicians within the Section of Pediatric Rheumatology offer comprehensive care for connective tissue diseases, systemic lupus (SLE), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and other immunological disorders. They treat children and teens at offices throughout the St. Louis region, including SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital’s pediatric rheumatology clinic.

The division also offers one of the original pediatric rheumatology fellowship programs.
