Mahdi Zadeh, M.D., chose to train at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital because of the strong sense of support he felt from the department leadership — particularly Program Director Medhat Osman, M.D. — who genuinely value residents' prior experiences and backgrounds. Zadeh appreciates that the program offers an exceptional variety of cases: "In addition to PET scans, there is a wide range of general nuclear medicine studies. Being one of the major academic medical centers in the Midwest further enhances the diversity and complexity of cases encountered. Moreover, the opportunity to cover studies from affiliated centers such as SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis broadens the clinical exposure and enriches the overall experience."
