Richard Bucholz surgically treats neurological disorders, with special interest in brain tumors and epilepsy. Other specialties include deep-brain stimulators and vagal nerve stimulators, glioma surgery, neuro-oncology, stereotactic radiosurgery and Parkinson's disease.
Bucholz applies the latest technology to his work, including the use of image-guided surgery. His research interests include traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, surgery for epilepsy, and DBS (deep brain stimulation) for functional disease.
