Practice Areas

Anh-Tu Le is a board‑certified cardiothoracic surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of complex heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, heart rhythm disorders and aortic disease. 
 
Le offers a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting; surgical and transcatheter treatment of valvular heart disease; ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation); Impella‑supported cardiac surgery; pulmonary endarterectomy; septal myectomy; surgical ablation for arrhythmias; and aortic surgery. She is experienced in caring for patients with complex and high‑risk cardiac conditions and uses advanced technologies to support patients before, during, and after surgery. 

Research Interests

  • Improving recovery after heart surgery through Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols
  • Participating in clinical trials involving transcatheter heart valves and mechanical support devices for patients with heart failure
