Practice Areas
Khanjan H. Nagarsheth brings extensive experience in academic vascular surgery, program
development and clinical operations, with a focus on advancing comprehensive, multidisciplinary
vascular care.
Prior to joining SLU, Nagarsheth served as professor of surgery and vice chair of
clinical affairs and operational strategies at the University of Maryland School of
Medicine, where he was program director of the integrated vascular surgery residency
and vascular surgery fellowship. He has led the development of multiple high-impact
clinical programs and served as medical director, including a university-based office-based
laboratory, a multidisciplinary vascular compression program, a comprehensive limb
preservation program, and a high-volume pulmonary embolism response team.
