The Chaifetz Executive Master of International Business Difference
The 21-month program combines on-campus and virtual classes to provide maximum productivity with an efficient class schedule. Classes are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every other Saturday. With face-to-face class sessions and a cohort-based curriculum, students gain the advantage of interacting with faculty and peers in an immersive environment.
Hybrid Model of Learning
The EMIB program is a hybrid model. It combines on-campus and virutal classes, requiring in-person attendance just one Saturday per month. Students have the option to attend class virtually one Saturday per month or 50% of the program.
The EMIB coursework is presented in a sequential, team-based format with a solid foundation of strategic planning, critical thinking and organizational leadership. The program addresses complex and relevant topics of international business, including international economics; risk assessment; operations in international and emerging markets; application of artificial intelligence and data analytics as they relate to global business; and generating sustainable, profitable growth.
Boeing Institute of International Business
For over a century, the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business has been a pioneer in providing education and thought leadership, assisting companies with business models, proven strategies and innovative solutions. This engagement led to the establishment of the highly respected Boeing Institute of International Business (BIIB).
The EMIB International Residency Experience
During the two-week International Residency Experience, students experience the realities of business development in either Latin American or Asian markets. They engage with corporations and executives abroad, ambassadors and State Department officials and learn about the political, social and economic pressures involved when competing in a global economy. Students must attend at least one of the two offered summer residency options.
Return on Education
Many students find that they receive an immediate return on their educational investment through greater responsibilities, promotions and increases in compensation. They also share what they’ve learned with other leaders within their organizations, creating an exponential value-added ripple effect.
