Bagsby Named to St. Louis Business Journal ‘40 Under 40’ List
Dr. Patricia Bagsby, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Management and Medart Endowed Chair in Family Business at the Chaifetz School of Business, has been named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’ list for 2021.
The annual list, which will be published in the Nov. 19 issue of the Business Journal, recognizes 40 emerging St. Louis-area business leaders under the age of 40 who are highly engaged with the St. Louis community. Dr. Bagsby and the other 2021 honorees will be recognized at a special event on Nov. 18.
“I’m excited to be included on this list and I look forward to meeting the cohort; it’s an honor to be included with them,” said Bagsby. “This is a great opportunity to highlight some of the innovative and inclusive programs here at Saint Louis University.”
Bagsby also led development of the Chaifetz School’s new Mission Meets the Market Digital Badge program launched this fall, which provides Chaifetz School students with the chance to earn microcredentials recognizing unique competencies developed through curricular and co-curricular opportunities.
“Beyond her excellence in teaching, Tricia has been a key driver of the Chaifetz School’s efforts to grow our impact for students, alumni and our community,” said Edward Jones Dean Barnali Gupta, Ph.D. “Her work for the Chaifetz School and our broader St. Louis community has been incredible and we are thrilled to see her recognized with this well-deserved honor.”
