Saint Louis University's School of Education offers programs for every level of aspiring educator, from those seeking employment as grade school teachers to those pursuing advanced degrees to become a principal or superintendent.

Undergraduate Programs

SLU’s School of Education offers an undergraduate degree in education with your choice of concentration. 

B.A. in Education Concentrations:

  • Early Childhood Education (Birth to Grade 3)
  • Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education (Birth to Grade 3) (No longer accepting applications
  • Elementary Education (Grades 1 to 6)
  • Middle School Education (language arts, mathematics, science, social science) (Grades 5 to 9)
  • Secondary Education (English, mathematics, social science) (Grades 9 to 12)
  • Special Education for Mild/Moderate Disabilities (Kindergarten to Grade 12)

B.A. in Teaching Concentrations:

  • Elementary Education (Grades 1 to 6)
  • Dual Certification in Elementary Education and Special Education

Minors in Education

  • Education
  • Special Education (No longer accepting applications.)
