As students in the School of Education complete field experiences, they are monitored and supervised in the schools by a school administrator.
To be eligible to monitor and supervise field experiences in schools, PK-12 administrators must file certain clearance documents with the Office of Educational Field Experiences, including a signed field experience code of ethics and conduct.
Additional documents may be required depending on the location of your field experience.
Type: Practicum (service in an educational setting)

- Missouri substitute certificate
- Protecting God's Children
- Release form
- TB test results
Resources during Practicum Teaching Semester:
In order to maintain your privacy, the clearance documents are only seen by the Office of Educational Field Experiences faculty and staff who have completed specific security training. These documents are securely stored physically and digitally in accordance with SLU's Office of University Compliance regulations.
