First-year Law Students
First-year law students are registered by the Registrar’s office for all first-year core curriculum courses. Your schedule for the fall semester should be available in mid-July. For more information regarding your schedule or other orientation activities, please see the Admitted Student webpage.
Under no circumstances can a first-year full-time or part-time student utilize the drop/add feature in banner to change a first-year core curriculum course. In extraordinary circumstances, a first-year core curriculum course may be changed at the discretion of the Dean of Students.
Upper Level Law Students
Upper level law students register via the University’s online registration system, Banner Self-Service. Registration for the summer and fall semesters usually occurs in late March/early April, and registration for the spring semester usually occurs in November. Registration occurs first through a priority system and second, through open registration.
It is the student’s responsibility to view and verify registration. If students believe they should be registered in a course but aren’t, they should contact the Registrar’s Office immediately.
