Ordering Books

You may pre-order your textbooks online from the Saint Louis University Bookstore. Use "LAW" when selecting Department. Please note that your credit card will not be charged until book orders are packaged, on or around August 1.

Orientation Dates and Preview

Orientation will take place Monday, Aug. 10, through Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020.

We will have many events throughout the year where family and friends are welcome to attend; however, orientation events are designed for law students only.

Summer Reading

Each year as part of Orientation, SLU LAW hosts a Community & Mission Workshop. As part of this workshop, we ask you to read a book before Orientation so that we may share a community-building experience with you as you begin your law school education. This book will serve as a foundation for a lively discussion on issues of diversity, inclusion, intercultural competence in the legal profession, and our Jesuit mission.
