#MotivationMonday Zoom Panel Series

Get inspired with this virtual series from the SLU LAW Office of Admission. The #MotivationMonday virtual sessions showcase the impactful stories of SLU LAW alumni, faculty and students to learn more about their experiences in the legal profession. These panel sessions are topic-specific, designed to introduce you to the SLU LAW experience and inspire you along your way to becoming an attorney.

All #MotivationMonday events take place during the lunch hour, from noon to 12:45 p.m. CT. Completing this form will automatically add you to our #MotivationMonday email list so that you will receive the Zoom meeting links on the morning of each event. SLU LAW Admissions Virtual Office Hours

Join the SLU LAW Office of Admissions for an informal office hour/question and answer session! Hailey Hearty and Cory Washington, associate directors of admissions, will be available to answer your questions about SLU LAW, the application process, and anything else that might impact your journey to your legal education.

All sessions will take place on Thursdays over the lunch hour from noon to 1 p.m. CT. Filling out the registration form will add you to our Office Hour email list so that you receive the Zoom meeting information on the morning of each session; you do not need to attend each session after registering.

Virtual Information Session and Sample Class

6-7:30 p.m. CT Thursday, Nov. 5, via Zoom

The Saint Louis University School of Law Office of Admissions invites interested students to join us for our fall 2026 Virtual Information Session and Sample Class at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 5, via Zoom. 

Join us live via Zoom to participate in a sample law school class lecture from Christine Rollins, professor of law at SLU. We will end the event with a short message from the admissions team regarding this year's application process as well as SLU LAW's community, culture and curriculum. There will also be time for Q&A if you have specific questions related to SLU LAW's opportunities or programming. 

Register below to receive additional information, including the link to join us live via Zoom on Nov. 5. Sample class materials will be shared with registrants in the week leading up to the event. We encourage you to register early to prepare for the sample lecture. Registration will close at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 5.

Pre-Law Day

10 a.m. CT Friday, Nov. 20, at Scott Hall

Saint Louis University School of Law invites you to visit our downtown St. Louis campus for our first in-person event of the 2027 application cycle for SLU LAW's Pre-Law Day. Pre-Law Day will start at 10 a.m. CT Friday, Nov. 20, on SLU LAW's campus.

Pre-Law Day will feature a sample class lecture by an esteemed SLU LAW faculty member, tours of the law campus led by current students, a panel of SLU LAW alumni detailing their career paths, and chances to connect with the various resources and support offices at the School of Law. 

Register below to receive additional information and logistics. Attendees are welcome to bring a guest, provided their information is included on the form. Sample class materials and additional details, including the campus address and parking information, will be shared with registrants in the weeks leading up to the event. Registration will close at 12 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Preview Day

9 a.m. CT,  Saturday, Jan. 9 at Scott Hall 

The Saint Louis University School of Law Office of Admissions invites students interested in joining the legal profession to join us for our 2027 Preview Day, which will take place on SLU LAW's Campus on Saturday, Jan. 9. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. CT. 

Preview Day will feature a sample law school class lecture by award-winning SLU LAW faculty members, a financial aid presentation geared toward legal education, campus tours led by current law students, a panel of esteemed alumni, and an information fair to connect with campus resources and opportunities at SLU LAW.

Sample class materials and additional details, including the campus address and parking information, will be shared with registrants in the weeks leading up to the event. Registration will close at noon CT on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

Schedule a Private Visit with the Admissions Office

If the events and opportunities described above do not work for your schedule, prospective students are welcome to contact Hailey Hearty or Cory Washington, associate directors of admission, to schedule a private visit to the School of Law campus.

Private visits usually include a tour of Scott Hall with a current upper-division law student, a one-on-one meeting with the admissions team and the opportunity to observe a first-year law class (Monday through Thursday only). Appointments are required to visit SLU LAW's campus. Contact our team to reserve a date that works for your schedule. 

The Office of Admissions is generally available to prospective students 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, with additional evening availability on Tuesdays for students interested in the part-time evening program. Students may contact the SLU LAW admissions office for additional information or to schedule their visit to the School of Law. 

Fall 2026 Sample Class Options

  • Civil Procedure: 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays
    A basic introduction to civil litigation - from initial pleadings through final judgment - including jurisdiction, joinder, discovery, pleading, trial, and more!
  • Torts: 10 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays or 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays
    Development and analysis of accident liability systems and historical roots of common-law liability, as well as an introduction to resolution and damages
  • Criminal Law: 9 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays
    The goals of punishment, principles of criminal responsibility, and selected specific crimes will be approached via study and analysis of the Model Penal Code and the Common Law doctrine.
  • Property Law: 6 p.m. Tuesdays for those interested in the part-time evening program.
    Learn about the legal concepts of ownership and possession, transferability of land, relationships between landlords and tenants, and more!

Appointments are required to visit Scott Hall's, and space for class sit-ins is limited. Please contact hailey.hearty@slu.edu or cory.washington@slu.edu as soon as possible to reserve a date that works with your schedule.

Virtual Meetings

Virtual meetings with SLU LAW Admissions are also available over the phone or via Zoom. 

Our virtual availability is generally between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT Monday through Friday. Contact a member of our admissions team or email admissions@law.slu.edu to schedule your private visit or arrange a virtual meeting.
