Microcredentials in Modern Languages
Saint Louis University-Madrid's modern language microcredentials consist of six required credit hours. Satisfactory completion of the required courses allows the SLU-Madrid student to develop the necessary skills to communicate correspondingly through the acquisition of appropriate vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening comprehension, speaking capabilities and cultural knowledge.
At SLU-Madrid we offer the following microcredentials:
- Arabic — Beginning (on completion of AR 1010 and AR 1020)
- Chinese — Beginning (on completion of CHIN 1010 and CHIN 1020)
- French — Beginning (on completion of FREN 1010 and FREN 1020)
- French — Intermediate (on completion of FREN 2010 and FREN 3010)
- German — Beginning (on completion of GR 1010 and GR 1020)
- Portuguese — Beginning (on completion of PG 1010 and PG 1020)
- Portuguese — Intermediate (on completion of PG 2010 and PG 2020)
- Spanish — Beginning (on completion of SPAN 1010 and SPAN 1020)
Once a student has completed the corresponding courses, they can declare a microcredential by completing the form to update their student curriculum record.
