Career Assessments
Career assessments help you better understand your interests, strengths and preferences so you can make informed career decisions. An assessment won't choose a career for you or tell you which is the "right" path; however, it can provide valuable insights and guidance as you explore your options. Your career counselor will interpret assessments based on your individual situation.
If you are interested in any of the assessments listed below, please email careers-madrid@slu.edu.
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI): This personality assessment can help you understand your personality type and point you in some possible career directions.
- Strong Interest Survey: This assessment can help you identify interest areas to see how they align with individuals working in various career fields.
- StrengthsQuest: This assessment can help you discover, understand and maximize your strengths.
