The internationally known faculty members at Saint Louis University’s Department of Health and Clinical Outcomes Research lead and collaborate on a broad range of areas such as diabetes, oncology, health equity, infectious disease, pain and opioid use, health care quality and data science.
SLU's faculty have received about $6.5 million in extramural funding for their research and have published more than 380 peer-reviewed publications in some of the most prestigious scientific journals in the world, including the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Annals of Internal Medicine. The combined methodological and statistical expertise of the AHEAD Institute's biostatistics core staff enables our collaborators to develop robust study designs and generate high-quality research that positively impacts health outcomes.
