Application Process

The Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship program at Saint Louis University exclusively uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Applications for the Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship, beginning July 1, 2022, are only accepted through the ERAS system. Direct emails to program leadership team are discouraged and will receive an auto-response. All applications must be submitted through ERAS. The system opens for applicants on July 7, 2021.

We will begin reviewing applications on July 21.

Applications will be reviewed once they include the following minimum requirements:

  • ERAS Application
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of recommendation from the residency Program Director
  • At least 2 additional letters of recommendation
  • Medical school transcripts
  • MSPE (if applicable)
  • USMLE transcripts
  • Personal statement
  • ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)

If any of the items listed above are missing, the application will not be considered.  Applications for our program close on August 6, 2021, at 11:59 a.m. CST. Any applications received after this time will not be considered. Invitations to interview will be extended solely through ERAS the week of August 13.
