The Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business at Saint Louis University will offer a graduate certificate in real estate beginning in the fall 2022 semester.

“The course work emphasizes analyzing cash flows, determining values, and measuring economic returns of real estate investments and other practical applications through projects based on actual data,” said Naresh Bansal, professor and chair of the Department of Finance at the Chaifetz School.

Olgun Sahin, associate professor of finance, added that the certificate will allow students to gain an understanding of three main aspects of real estate: the real estate decision-making environment, analysis of real estate decisions and the financing of real estate transactions.

Projects in the program will involve analysis of pending real estate projects, property acquisitions, property developments, and financing decisions.
