All School of Law graduating students are strongly encouraged to participate in Regalia Days. This is a one-stop opportunity to "check off" multiple requirements related to graduation.
Dates and Times:
Tuesday, February 26, 2019 – 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Wednesday, February 27, 2019 – 3-7 p.m.
11th floor (near the open stairwell)
What to Expect:
- Individual photos taken for class composite
- Cap and gown measurements/orders
- Ring orders
- Verification of diploma name and degree information
- Alumni and Development and Career Services information
- Bar Preparation and Financial Aid information
Please sign up to have your photo taken – sign-up sheets will be posted outside the Student Services office during the week of February 18.
There is no fee to have your photo taken for the class composite. The cost to order an 11x14 class composite is $25. Students who order class composite photos will be notified by email when they are ready for pickup.
Packages for individual photos are also available for order. Kabance Photo Services will email a link to photo proofs and this link will include information about ordering additional photo packages as well as ordering the class composite.
If you are unable to attend Regalia Days, there will be one photo makeup session Monday, March 4 from 12-1 p.m.
Cap and Gown Measurements/Orders
A representative from the University Bookstore will take your order for the mortarboard cap, gown, tassel and hood purchase. The cost is $92.98 (plus tax) which can be paid by cash, check or credit card. If you would like to purchase a tam instead of a mortarboard cap, the cost for the entire regalia package is $141.98 (plus tax).
If you are unable to attend Regalia Days, please contact the University Bookstore before March 15 to place your cap and gown order.
Graduates will be notified by email when academic regalia is ready for pickup in the Office of Student Services.
Rings will also be available for order from the Bookstore. Samples will be available for viewing.
Verification of Degree Information
Representatives from the Office of Student Services will be available for verification of information to be included in the Hooding Ceremony program and on your diploma. You will verify the following:
- Name on diploma
- Prior educational information (from transcripts the University has on file)
- Dual degree (if applicable)
- Concentrations (if applicable)

Make sure your information is up to date with the Alumni Office! Stop by to pick up plenty of SLU LAW goodies.
Bar Preparation and Career Services Information
Antonia Miceli, director of Bar Exam Preparation, and Career Services staff members will be available with information and helpful resources.
Financial Aid Information
Jessica Seavers, assistant director of Student Financial Services and Financial Education, will be scheduling exit interview appointments and providing general information.
