Jerome Schulte, MD ‘59

Dr. Jerome L. Schulte has recently released his book “Wisdom for Life” through Inkwell Books.

Harry Graber, MD ‘64

Dr. Harry Graber is a retired cardiologist of Ohio State University School of Medicine (age 89). He is the author of: "Evolution of a hereditary cardiac conduction and muscle disorder: a study involving a family with six generations affected", "The Making of a Physician; This was my calling", plus other national cardiac meetings and international meetings in Berlin, Germany.

Harry Owens, MD ‘66

Dr. Harry Owens spent time doing volunteer medical work with Project HOPE in the Bahamas at the Marsh Harbour Hospital Clinic and Emergency Room on Abaco Island, the island hardest hit by Hurricane Dorian.

Laura Kroupa, MD ‘84

Dr. Laura Kroupa is Chief Medical Officer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM). Dr. Kroupa was honored by FedHealthIT magazine during an award ceremony on October 30 at the Leading for Impact: Women in Leadership conference in Arlington, Virginia.

Shelby (Lee) Green, MD ‘18

Dr. Shelby (Lee) Green and Tyler Green were married on October 5, 2019, in Des Moines, IA. Dr. Shelby Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from SLU in 2014 before entering medical school. She is now an OB/GYN resident at the University of Iowa.  Mr. Green earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2014 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Doisy College of Health Sciences in 2016. He is now a Physical Therapist with Steindler Physical Therapy in Iowa City, IA.

Scott Clemens, MD ‘02

Dr. Scott Clemens is the President and Chief Medical Officer of New West Physicians, part of Optum. He lives in Arvada, Colorado with his wife and twin sons.
