Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship
The SSM Health/Saint Louis University School of Medicine Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program trains physicians to be uniquely qualified pediatric intensivists who are also skilled in research.
A Message From the Program Director
Welcome to the Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program.
Our fellows are trained to diagnose and manage infants, children and adolescents with critical care illnesses and injuries. They offer pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) support, providing advanced-level care for patients with organ failure, administering procedural sedation and offering consultation services. They also act as medical control for critical transports.
Fellows’ additional scholarly work helps them develop the necessary skills to pursue careers in research and education.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Jason Werner, M.D.
Program director
