Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship
The SSM Health/Saint Louis University School of Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program provides training in return-to-play and interventional procedures using high-quality, evidence-based medicine.
A Message From the Program Director
Welcome to the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.
Based in the heart of St. Louis and rooted in the mission of Saint Louis University, our program is dedicated to training physicians who provide exceptional care to athletes and active individuals of all ages.
Our fellowship offers comprehensive experiences across the entire spectrum of sports medicine. Fellows gain expertise in musculoskeletal evaluation, acture injury management and longitudinal care for athletes, while also engaging in sideline coverage at the collegiate, high school and community levels. With strong partnerships across SSM Health, Saint Louis University, regional athletic organizations and interdisciplinary health care teams, we emphasize a collaborative and patient-centered approach to athlete health.
In addition to clinical experience, our fellows are active in teaching, research and community service. Our program provides opportunities to contribute to the academic advancement of sports medicine while fostering the skills and confidence needed to prepare for careers in any opportunity.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about the training, faculty and opportunities that make our fellowship unique. We are proud of the work our fellows accomplish here and in their careers, and we look forward to continuing that tradition of excellence.
Thank you for your interest.
