About Us

The Center for Counseling and Family Therapy was established with a grant funded by a $1 million donation made in memory of former Saint Louis University President Paul Reinert, S.J. The center's goals align with the University's commitment to social justice and human dignity.

Medical Family Therapy Program master's and doctoral students provide 30- to 60-minute counseling sessions, which can be held in person or via a phone or computer. All therapists are supervised by faculty who are both licensed professionals and approved by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
