The Queer and Trans Wellness Clinic
The Department of Family and Community Medicine's Queer and Trans Wellness Clinic provides affordable, culturally attuned care for the LGBTQIA+ community.
About Us
The Queer and Trans Wellness Clinic was started by a professor and graduate students of the Medical Family Therapy Program. As couple and family therapists, they saw how LGBTQIA+ people's social worlds are central to their health. The clinic is a safe haven that offers affirming mental health services, cultivates connections and advocates for changes in policy, research and social structures.
In-person and telehealth services are provided by graduate students studying couples and family therapy, clinical psychology and social work. All therapists are supervised by a licensed professional.
