Most students complete their degrees with financial help along the way. Here, we’ve outlined some common ways students save and finance their tuition.
We offer a breadth of scholarships specifically for adult online students, including new students, current students and students enrolled within specific programs. Learn more about what’s available and how to apply.
Many students apply for financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We recommend applying early for maximum consideration.
We’ve partnered with more than 120 corporations nationwide, including BJC Healthcare, SSM Health and Boeing.
You may be eligible for a 15% discount on your tuition in a fully online bachelor’s or master’s degree program within SLU’s SPS if your employer is one of our partners, either through EdAssist or direct partnerships.
We offer special payment arrangements for students whose employers reimburse tuition after course completion.
You must submit documentation indicating your employer’s reimbursement policy and how much you’re eligible for before the beginning of each semester that the deferred payment option is used. Tuition or fees not paid by the employer are due on the regular payment due dates.
Deferred Payment Dates 2023-2024
- Summer 2023: Sept. 4, 2023
- Fall 1, 2023: Dec. 2, 2023
- Fall 2, 2023: Feb. 5, 2024
- Spring 1, 2024: April 29, 2024
- Spring 2, 2024: July 1, 2024
Under this option, you are responsible for the full tuition amount, whether or not the reimbursement is received. Additionally, a monthly finance charge of 1% will be assessed on open balances after the deferred payment due date. Payment must be received before the deferred deadline to ensure continued eligibility for deferment and prevent late fees and holds on future registration.

2023-2024 Fees
