Launching the Search for SLU’s next Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer

Dear SLU faculty and staff,
I am pleased to announce the search for SLU’s next Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (SVPFA/CFO).
Reporting directly to the President, the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (SVPFA/CFO) serves as a key member of SLU’s senior leadership team, advising the President on matters of fiscal stewardship, administrative innovation and effectiveness, advanced technology, and long-range capital and space planning. This executive oversees a broad portfolio that includes finance, budgeting, accounting, treasury, investments, procurement, human resources, information technology, and facilities. Maintaining close working partnerships with the Executive Vice President and Provost (EVPP) and deans is an especially important part of the role, as SLU responds to an increasingly competitive higher education landscape.

- Viki Villarreal, MBA, Vice Rector of Administration and Chief Financial Officer, SLU-Madrid
SLU has engaged the executive search firm Isaacson, Miller to assist in recruitment and the search process. Staff support will be provided by Vice President of Human Resources Mickey Luna and Talent Acquisition Manager Megan Vonderheid. Recruitment of candidates will begin immediately, with the goal of welcoming a new SVPFA/CFO this fall.
