COVID-19-Related Interim University Policies

The COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated several interim policies at Saint Louis University as we follow public health safeguards to keep our campus and community safe.  

Face Mask Policy 

Effective: May 18, 2020, SLU’s Interim Face Mask Policy requires faculty, staff, students, visitors and other workforce members to wear face masks on campus, with limited exceptions. The policy applies to all operating units of Saint Louis University, except the Madrid Campus and clinical facilities of SLUCare.  The Office of the Provost has developed a syllabus statement regarding the interim policy that will be required for all fall 2020 courses.

Classroom Space Prioritization Policy

Effective June 30, 2020, the Interim University Classroom Space Prioritization Policy gives priority to classroom instruction over other events in the use of campus event spaces. Previously scheduled events and reservations planned for spaces that will be used for academic instruction will be canceled until further notice.
