Education of Flourishing

 Amrita Chaturvedi is an Assistant Professor of Special Education. Her area of work includes mental health and overall wellbeing/flourishing of teachers and students at the K-12 and Higher Education levels. Amrita is the founder and chair of Consortium for Human Flourishing at Saint Louis University.  She is also the Senior Fellow of the Community of Practice at the Human Flourishing Program, Harvard University. Amrita is engaged in designing school curricula and practices that promote overall wellbeing/flourishing of individuals and communities. She led the integration of flourishing across the curriculum for recently re-designed undergraduate Teacher Education Program in the School of Education at Saint Louis University. She is also working with school districts locally and nationally to integrate flourishing in their existing curricula and practices.
