The Museum of Contemporary Religious Art (MOCRA) will host a 25-minute Spotlight Tour, “Artist Focus: Susan Schwalb,” led by the museum’s director, David Brinker, at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, at the museum.
This tour session focuses on a particular artist or topic and is perfect for the lunch hour or right after work.
Tour goers are also welcome to stay after the tour and continue exploring the museum.
The tours are free and open to the public.
The exhibition Surface to Source features six works by renowned silverpoint artist Susan Schwalb, all relating to Jewish themes. Delve into the stories behind these pieces and learn more about Schwalb’s contributions to reviving a centuries-old artistic medium.
