Webinar: 'Getting Started with Mindful Breathing to Reduce Stress'

Amrita Chaturvedi, Ph.D., chair for The Consortium of Human Flourishing at Saint Louis University along with SLU’s William Rehg, Ph.D., Christopher Grabau, Ph.D., and Kristine Larson, Ed.D. from Notre Dame of Maryland University will lead a webinar demonstration on mindful breathing, “Getting Started with Mindful Breathing to Reduce Stress,” at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.

About the Webinar

During this period of challenge and change, many people are experiencing heightened levels of stress and anxiety.  The simple act of mindful breathing can be a useful tool to help regulate the body’s reaction to stress and fatigue.

The research-supported technique is an easy skill that can help invite rest, recovery, and refocus for people of all ages. A panel of students and faculty will also share personal experiences on how mindful breathing can be an important skill for anyone seeking self-care and well-being.

All are welcome to participate in the webinar, but registration is required.
