Zoom: 'The 2020 Election and US Foreign Policy'

The Department of Political Science will host a virtual faculty panel presentation on the 2020 election and US foreign policy, at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, via Zoom.

Four professors of political science and international studies will discuss various aspects of foreign policy, including the Middle East, Latin America, Africa and Europe, in light of the Nov. 3 election in the United States.

The event will be moderated by the Beatrice Beirne, president of the Political Round Table.

Speakers include:

Matthew Nanes, Ph.D., assistant professor of political science and expert of the Middle Eastern politics

J.D. Bowen, Ph.D., chair and associate professor of political science and specialist of Latin America

Emmanuel Uwalaka, Ph.D., associate professor of political science who teaches African politics, among others

Ali Fisunoglu, Ph.D., assistant professor of political science, expert of European politics and political economy.
