The University has arranged for flu shots to be available for all School of Law students and employees at Scott Hall in the 12th floor pavilion on Tuesday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments can be made at www.slu.edu/flu. Walk-ins are also welcome.
If you get your flu shot on October 27, there will be no cost to you. Your health insurance plan will reimburse the Visiting Nurse Association of Greater St. Louis, a nonprofit agency that is partnering with SLU School of Nursing to administer flu shot. If you do not have health insurance (or if your plan does not cover this expense), the flu shot will be provided at no cost to you. There is a consent form available at the circulation desk of the law library; you can fill out the form in advance of your shot. The form will also be available on the 27th, but completing the form in advance will speed up the process.
Consistent with recommendations by health experts and local health departments, the University is asking all SLU community members to get a flu shot this year. This expectation is consistent with the Campus Commitment to keep SLU healthy, safe, and open, and to keep your local community safe. Detailed information (including how to sign up for a no-cost flu shot on campus, how to inform the University that you have received a flu shot off campus, and how to request an exemption) can be found at www.slu.edu/flu. For additional questions or information, please reach out to the University's Flu Shots 2020 Initiative team at email@example.com or text/call 314-307-0536.
